This year, our conference will concentrate on the subject "Marketing Management". Within the framework of this title, instead of focusing on classical marketing only, we have decided to combine mainstream marketing subjects with the new marketing trends of the decade, which include guerilla marketing, e-marketing, marketing through blogs, viral marketing and experiential marketing.
The chosen speakers from various firms will talk about classical marketing subjects such as product management, international marketing, market research, customer oriented marketing and creating customer loyalty as well as the new trends in marketing. Speakers will be sharing their experiences and their real life success or failure stories.
By providing the participants with information on both the classical and non-traditional topics in marketing, the conference will broaden the participants’ vision in many ways. At the end of IMIS’10, participants will have a good knowledge about having a career in Marketing and it will be much easier for them to decide on a career path. In contrast to the theoretical knowledge they have gained about marketing so far in lessons, the participants will learn about different methods of Marketing and marketing in different areas with real-life examples, workshops and case studies.
IMIS’10 aims to combine the academic seminars with social activities.Besides informative sessions, the participants will be able to enjoy our traditional social activities, such as barbecue party, boat tour on Bosphorus, and Fasıl, a typical live music and Turkish cuisine activity.
IMIS’10 will take place between April 29th and May 2nd, 2010 in Sabanci Center and Sabanci University Tuzla Campus. Organization will be limited for 150 participants only, and the seminars will be held in English. |
