IHP Microelectronics (June-September, 2010)
Alp Özüpekoğlu worked in Innovation for High Performance Microelectronics in Germany under the supervision of Mehmet Kaynak for three months. The company focuses generally on wireless communication and RF systems. He designed and optimized charge pump circuits with 12, 16 and 20 stages. He built the layout of the ring oscillator using Cadence and ADS. He combined these two parts to the input of a MEMS Switch. He also learned about inductor and MEMS Switch concepts.

Alp Özüpekoğlu was the T.A. of the Circuits I and Electromagnetics I courses. Both courses were offered by Associate Professor Meric Ozcan. He attended the lab sessions and graded the homework, quizzes and lab reports.
