001. All About Me

Everything you need to know, wrapped up in a little nutshell

I was born in 1987 in Altindag, Ankara, which is the capital city of Turkey. My mother was an English teacher and my father was studying in Hacettepe University as an intern at that time. We lived in Ankara for my first years childhood and moved to Ordu at my age of 7. I completed 4 years of my elementary education in Ozel Ordu Lisesi. At 5th grade, I left my family and moved to Ankara with my grandmother to study in TED for 1 year. I moved back to Ordu and studied 2 more years in Seckin Koleji. After my father decided to develop his career as a urologist, we moved to Isparta in the last year of my elemetary education.

I had studied in Isparta Anatolian Hight School for 4 years and I took Annual Central Nationwide University Examination (OSS). I got 1614th ranking out of approximately 1.5 million test takers in the 2005 and I was awarded with Sabanci University's Success Scholarship for 5 years of undergraduate education.

Career Objectives To increase my experience in the fields of automotive, control engineering, digital system design, system automation and biomedicine. Also, to seek a job opportunity in a foreign country, in line with my long-term career plan which is to obtain work experience overseas in the aforementioned areas.

Projects

Drug Delivery System Designing and developing an independent MEMS device for drug delivery applications. Also performing the production of the device itself.

Lab-On-A-Chip System for Semen Analysis design and optimization of a novel LOC MEMS device with integrated micro sensors and electro osmotic pump which is able to perform semen analysis.

Conformal Patch Antenna Computer-aided Finite Element Analysis (COMSOL) and use of optimization tools to design material configuration of the antenna. Holding weekly meetings with the supervisor, and mechatronics laboratory group.
